Oh Mother of Pearl Another Personality Test (part two to Meyer Briggs!)

I feel like e-Comm is secretly working for the government, and they're trying to gather information about me. So e-Comm decided that two personality tests aren't enough, they decided to do another. This on took less than five minutes, it was pretty easy and I took a similar one in eighth grade. basically, you pick a description most like you and put a 4. most like you is 3. continue down until you get to 1, which is not like you at all. you add up the total, and the one with the highest total is the most accurate to you personality. This is often compared to a color, or an animal. In this case, it's an animal. My highest number is associated with a Golden Retriever, and my next highest was an Beaver. who's a good boy??? The test said i'm most like a Golden Retriever, and i'd have to agree with that. I'm good at making friends, I'm loyal. I don't like big changes, I often want security. I'm quite sensitive, and caring. I have few, close an...

the Meyer Briggs personality test

Image
this is one of the weirder things i've done in e9. take a personality test. i've heard of this test before, and i've been meaning to take it, but I never really had the chance to. I guess I was destined to take it? anyway, here are my results. ISFJ means i'm introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging. I already knew I was introverted, and that i'm pretty empathetic. I didn't know that I was sensing and judging though. this explains a lot and helps me understand who I am. I tend to stick and rely to the labels I identify with (a bisexual pastel goth artist) and I stick to a significant routine and panic when I go past it too much. I constantly ask my friends if they're alright, and they can get kind of annoyed. I'm not all that conservative, though and i'm... in a way methodical? it's a mess but in my head it's pretty methodical. I tend to over focus on one project at a time, and it gets in the way of school sometimes....

Our House, in the Middle of Our House

Image
oh my god... I've said it so many times it isn't even funny anymore, but this one. this project... this... HOUSE... was by far the most painstaking, longest, and the most TEDIOUS project I have ever done in e9 so far.  the satisfaction that washed over me when I realized all I had to do was paint... it was absolutely remarkable. The feeling of content when I realized I was done painting... treasuring. The moment when I rendered the final frame... the gratification... Just stunning. (in case you're wondering, this is my house) alright, so...? I heard the rumors from other animation students that this was the hardest project in e9. I took heed to this advice, but I also took it with a grain of salt, it couldn't be too hard, right? I already made multiple chairs. I felt like a master of sketchup. oh, dear sweet naive little Audrey. (by the way, this is the house I tried to replicate ) You start with a square, to scale. that's it. from ther...

woah, ANIMATION!

Image
Here you see the beginning. The beginning of a career that'll last me a lifetime. here you see the first three animations that I'll forever look back on and think wow. I really don't like animation in photoshop. The whole point of the project was to animate three different balls. one bouncing from directly below, the other an arch, and the last one with creative freedom. these three gifs are what I created. the process I created the first one by making a custom grass tool and drawing the grass, then coloring the background. I then created a ball, and rendered it's texture by double clicking the layer. then, I began to make copies of the ball, making them do as I please. I made a frame animation, then turned off all the layers except the first one. then, the tedious process of duplicating a frame, turning off the last layer and turning on the next layer began. the last gif is 106 frames, so you can understand that it took a while. execution picking my color...

My Own Website

Image
The Process Remember when I said that making a logo was a wild ride? yeah, I was really wrong on that. T his one was a wild, wild ride. For my final, I had to make my own website, from almost scratch, with only the guidance of a few videos. So with that, sit back, relax and allow me to explain to you the absolute wild ride of making the website. Generally what happened Okay, so at first, I was sick. I was a day behind on the project, so I was a bit scrunched on time. I made it work though, and I'm really proud of that. I fist had to watch the first video, and name my files, and organize them. It was surprisingly therapeutic, really. That's the weird thing about this.  I then had to adjust a thing or two in Dreamweaver, and name a thing or two like the links, the title, how it's gonna look on certain cites. what made this such a wild ride is that dreamweaver is a really, really difficult program to work with, if you aren't a very good programmer or w...

Elevator Pitch

Hey, did you know I’m starting my own webcomic? No? well I am. Would you be willing to sponsor it? I have great creative and writing skills, and I’m really positive about it. I work really quickly, sir. If there’s a deadline for a chapter, I’ll totally get it done on time, I promise. I’m also really quick to learn things, trust me on that one. If you introduce me to a new art program, I’ll learn how it works within a few hours, and I’ll make at least something. I’m also a really good artist, as well. I draw in a fun and cartoony style that’s great to please anyone. I also rarely talk, so another bonus to hiring me is that you’ll rarely ever hear from me unless I need something. Here’s a way to contact me. This is my email, my Instagram, my number, my tumblr, my google plus. Feel free to ask questions! Here’s my card as well. (this is where I exit the elevator, recovering from my crippling social anxiety)

My Very Own Logo

Image
the process Let me tell you. This one was a wild ride. At first, I really wanted a lilac alien (a wink and a nod to my alias online as an artist) with clouds and stars as a gradient (to show I was up in space all the time). However, my illustrator skills are relatively sub par, and my brain just shut down at that point. So, aliens were out of the question. But what was something else that I really liked, and was simple to draw with a mouse? cats. Yes, that's right. The final logo is this: Look at her, isn't she a beauty? This logo took little to no skill at all, and doing everything took me less than a day. Isn't that crazy?! I started out by drawing a black and white version, then other different colored versions, which looked like this: imagine if I actually used one of these... The one I chose didn't have a name when I saved this, I don't know why that happened. Just ignore it. Anyway, I chose the top right one. The reason of the colors a...
